Suns Could Use Atlanta Trade Exception To Land James Jones

Arizona Republic - The Suns also are considering a sign-and-trade deal for Indiana swingman James Jones, but Joe Johnson's physical must be completed in Atlanta before the Suns' $6 million trade exception can be used.

The Knicks have also reportedly been interested in Jones. [READ]

I really want this guy on the Knicks for the full LLE! I can't say enough about long 6-8/6-9 SFs who can shoot and play defense!

true... hmm. but would he play over tim thomas, ariza and lee and when Q Rich plays SF?

Q is a SG. TT is gone. Jones is better than Ariza. Who knows what Lee will do in his rookie year

two different players. Ariza IMHO, has a much bigger upside. Jones has much more experience and is a solid spot up 3 pt shooter with some size. he is not in the same stratosphere athletically like ariza, and ariza acn do things james is not capable of--really two different style players, but ariza is 5 yrs younger with much more upside
