I'm just thinking about how good he was as a Clipper.....He averaged 16pts and 6 rebs there his last season. He got to Pheonix and changes his game becoming a 3pt specialist.....which is like night and day from his Clipper days.

I'm thinking "Q" finally has a breakout season and flirts with 20pts per game.

At least this is what I'm hoping. Even with Craw, Timmy and Ariza on the team.....I think Q won't be denied and will demand playing time. He could eventually be the starting 3 on the Knicks.

He is a thick guy....a bull. He plays with fire and wreckless abandon. He is as athletic as anyone and he proved to the world that he can knock down the 3pter. His post game is decent and he will do alot of scoring on the inside. He's 6'6" but he still manages to average 6 rebounds a game.?!?!

The Knicks need a 3rd scorer. They especially need a consistant threat at the 3 spot.

How do you guys feel about Q? He is still young and is due to have a breakout season. He has always shown a willingness to be the man. Why not at MSG and a Knick?

I can see Q (as well as a coupke of others) having a breakout season, with Larry Brown bringing their best out of them. He's coming in with the "the Suns made me the goat for what happened in the playoffs" chip on his shoulder. Those two factors definitely point in the "breakout" direction. Let's hope for the best.

At least Q can keep his orange wrist/head bands to wear. Knicks may get new ones along with new unis this year- just a hunch.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Another tough kid, kind of what we expected to see from TT:

If I weren't concerned about driving up the value of TT's expiring contract, I'd start Q at SF. I actually think he's a better fit at SF than SG. I might do that anyway. He's not extremely quick but he's extremely strong (at least on defense; he can abuse SGs in the post on offense).

Q is a player, a good team guy, and a guy who doesn't mind taking the big shot, the knicks will love his post game and rebounding, but he gives us a bonafide shot maker down the stretch. I never thought he would be this good of a rebounder when I first saw him as a rookie in LA but he can board and I expect him to get to the FT line a lot this year...

I think Q has semi-star to start potential to be tapped still. will it happen here in the next year? It will be hard if they do the 2 guard by platoon thing.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

I think if TT even resembles the scrub he's shown his entire career, Q starts at the 3 and Craw starts at off guard.

I want him to have a nice year, what I don't want is him as our starter SF. Not undersized again, please. He should be our starter SG and maybe he can have some minutes at the 3. It's the same with Channing Frye and all this thing about him being a PF. He must be Jerome James back up (which means he will play no less than 24 mpg) and maybe some minutes at PF.

I'm beginning to no longer see a glut at PF...I must be addicted to the kool aid. We now have 3 PFs in Sweets, Rose and Taylor with Lee learning and groomed to replace any of the three.

At center, the depth chart is obvious JJ/Frye/Buter

Oh my, before my eyes, the team is normal again:
marbs/Nate
Q/Craw
TT/Ariza
Sweets/Rose
JJ/Frye

slurp slurp...deep, balanced, youth, experience, veterans, rooks...could actually be a fun season after all!!!

I think JJ and Frye on the court at the same time is going to be a good combination.

Yeah for the other team.

I think TT is going to get a lot of burn at PF too. My favorite lineup up is marbs, craw, Q, TT and James/Frye...

I know Frye was hacking like crazy in SL but he didn't foul out of a single game all of last year including 4 games in the tournament.
