I dont know if its just me, but I think Zeke is trying to mold this new Knicks team into last seasons Seattle SuperSonics. Just think about it. Rashard Lewis, physical player that can shoot the three pointer...Queentin Richardson. Antonio Daniels and Vlad Radmonivic...Crawford and Tim Thomas. Ariza reminds me a little of Damien Wilkins. Danny Fortson and Reggie Evans...Sweetney and Lee. Instant offense Ronald Murray...Nate Robinson. Jerome James is redundant. This all depends on how Marbury plays. Is he willing to be a Luke Ridnour? I doubt it. But if we move him to the swingman, he can be a Ray Allen with out the jumpshot.

yeah. zeke wanted uptempo... suns are the most uptempo, then the sonics.

I like Larry Brown and all but I dont think he is going to but into this Uptempo style of play

I was thinking about that the other day, but never the Sonics didn't cross my mind.

The Knicks do have alot of elements for a run and gun team. Larry Brown is a coach that coaches to teams strengths so hopefully the Knicks can open the floor and still play Larry Brown defense.

Rashard isn't physical. I don't think we could compare these two teams. One guy I think the Knicks should make a run at is Radmonovic. He can really stretch a zone, and run the floor.

His Philly teams used to run and Detroit got out on the break whenever they could.

Brown adapts to what he has somewhat......I just want to win. I'm sick of know it alls talking bad about the Knicks. The Knicks didn't really loose anybody from last years team and they have added alot of young talent. The Knicks have gotten better before Larry Brown.......Larry is just the perfect guy to organize the group and make them a team

Rashard isnt Physical ?!? He "bodies" people in the post. He made Tin Thomas look like a lil boy when he was guarding him. I think James Jones would be a better pick up than Radmonovic.

Geez this is my last post till tomorrow!!!

I like Rad Mon. He is still available which is crazy to me. Dude wants to get paid and start too but Rashard is ahead of him.

Problem is the Knicks don't really have anything to give them. They could use Malik Rose but I think Isiah is gonna keep him around. Mo Taylor just makes too much....Ray would retire if Timmy came to Seattle.

I watched alot to their games. Would I call his game Physical? No. Does he have elements of physicacality in his game .. sure, sometimes. When your using TT as the yardstick.. well that can be a problem!

The thing is do we have a Ray Allen. I thinK Stephon is closer to Ray than Luke Ridnour. In fact I would rather have Stephon than Ray.

The problem is Stephon is 6'2 so he's forced to be a PG while Ray is 6'6 so he got to be a SG.

I believe LB will surprise and try to recreate the old Celts formula-uptempo offense with a tough D and if he gets the teams to buy in (if they don't-they have splinters in their future) they wil be a pleasant surprise.

The system Larry will bring to N.Y will resemble the one that he won the championship with in Detroit. The only thing that we are missing is a consistant shooter to play the role of Hamilton....If Houston can provide us 20+ minutes for at least 50 games, we will be a heck of a team to reckon with. The only problem is that with both Marb and Houston or Marb and Crawff, we would have the worst defensive backcourt in the game. If Marburry improves his defense, watchout.

fingers crossed that Craw if Hamilton off the bench, while the standard inside out game is played to start the game off with text book offensive sets and plays (pick and roll, drive and dish, inside post and out, etc.)

Then Brown pulls the trigger on the Craw/Ariza/Frye second unit, then all hell breaks loose.

May I respectfully disagree-the knx are not constructed the same way as Detroit. Detroit didn't have the offensive depth or speed of the knx. They had the rebounding and depth. A coach like LB with develope a system that plays to its strengths.
