Houston????

Uhhhhhh ya fired.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

how can you rank houston over miami?

based on pure talent, miami got 10X better than last season. that alone makes them #1 overall.
houston improved alot but there's no way i can put them #1. are they even better than the spurs?

The Spurs suck on paper but they still won.

Geez man when does training camp start? I just want Marbs and some of the other guys to come out in the press the why Kidd did when he got to New Jersey. Kidd told everyone that they had a good team wait and see and they took the East over for 2 years.

Go Knicks!!!! And Go Isiah.....I hope he can get the team sorted out before training camp.

It really doesn't get any simpler than that...

Ive always felt Stromile Swift was a vastly under-rated, under-utilized player, especially on the defense. In short, I feel it's going to be a terror trying to score against Houston--you have the best defensive coach armed with a frontline that will shield the basket, you have perhaps the best offensive wing player in the game and they will get easy shots. They will only need 90 or so points to win, because they will only give up 82-83 or so. If they stay injury free, they will win it

wow, briggs - that's a bold prediction.

i would say with the extra depth in miami now, they can save wade and shaq for the playoffs and they added a defensive player in posey who's better than eddie jones now. they are the favorites to win since it was the injury bug that cost them last year.

i like houston but i would place them #3 right now behind miami and the spurs (you got to beat them first). also, the jvg factor will get them far, but will it get them over the hump?

Im a big believer that frontlines win games

if you dont think Okafor May Brezac Ely Voshkul are better than the crp Boston has, youre out of your gord. One thing I realized about the bobcats, they play hard, and now they added serious talent

They were like the 2nd WORST team in the league last year.

what are basing your order on, last years stats, because there was no telling NJ ( when kidd got there ) and the suns( when nash got there) who be close to the team they where when the season finished.

It's like the only sure team is Sa, Dallas, any team shaqs on, indie, and detriot. so your order is certainly not etch in stone, it's suspect at best.

You guys are so disrespectful, it is a shame. The Spurs won the championship last season, that alone should put them at the top of the list. They still have the same core of players that they won with, and they added a couple of more talented guys that we don't know much about. Show them some respect. Just because they are not as flashy as the Lakers or the Suns doesn't mean that they have to get disrespected like that. Until they are beaten, they are still the number one team.

The bobcats have an intriging frontline but it will take them a few years playing together to have any success winning games. They are too young a team!

It's funny how this whole world is based on one dummy controlling another, and the leader dummy was chosen by a whole bunch of dummies.

No to Houston better than Miami.
What makes Cleveland good enough to be at 12? No PG, no C.
Indiana overrated.
Chicago & LAC better than NJ? I don't think so.
Utah at 25 & 27? Impossible. :) Anyway, I think they're much better than that.
