Yes, being a Knick fan and going to many games, buying
their merchandise, buying playoff tickets, seeing
mediocre Knicks team year after year yet still
supporting them is really negative of myself. I'm

in the **** since after the 1999 season. That was a
lockout season, and the Knicks made the finals...A
year or so later, Patrick Ewing was traded because the
owner of the Knicks wanted the Knicks to "win
now" and got another gimp in return, Glen Rice, with two overpriced and underachieving NBA bench warmers, Eisly and Shandon Anderson...That has been the philosophy for the past 10
years...Overpay and get average and no all star
players, and to be mediocre and choke in the first
round (it would have happened with the Heat in this seasons plays). While I might not be that supportive so far
because of a few changes (I kind of am supportive) I
am patient and will wait a few years until I see what
Isiah can do as a GM.

I find it funny. No action has to be taken and I know you guys are saying those comments with tongue-in-cheek. But I just wonder as to why someone would tell me to root for NJ when I'm clearly a Knicks fan and have been for over 13 years. I mean seriously, is this person stupid or something?

The funny part is that someone actually took the time out to email LI and yet their email was 3 simple 5 word sentences. Someone has a little too much time on their hands. Who is anyone to define anyone as a Knicks fan or a fan of anything for that matter. Yeah we may all disagree with certain posters and agree with others but we wouldn't be at this forum if we werent Knicks fans. I want this person to step up and be a MAN or a WOMAN for that matter.

I don't post anywhere but here about the Knicks, so to get an e-mail from someone from somewhere else is dumb. This "Marlene" person is from here most likely. I sounded negative about the Knicks in the ESPN post, and I guess they got mad, but to question myself being a fan of the Knicks to waste my time by e-mailing me? I mean come on!

Could be anyone using some else's e-mail.

First week of college for many, so one could just use someones computer.
