^ That's right - you're NOT adding to the glut if you're swapping PF's, but that's ONLY if we're swapping. Some guys here would care less if we didn't trade any 4's to get Gooden, which is just stupid. Gooden would be a nice addition (strictly talent-wise), but he's not nearly enough of an upgrade (impact-wise) to warrant adding to the PF count...
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure.
And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.
