Hmm lets see, 15 roster spots right.

Marbury,Q,Craw,Nate,Houston,Penny - thats 6 to the guards

TT, Ariza, Jones, Rose, Taylor, Sweetney, Lee - 7 to the forwards

James, Frye - 2 centers

So this might be the end of Bruno Sundov's NBA career, unofrtunatley its many years to late lol.

Butler to the NBDL? Or is it Lee?

Geez another poster beats me too it.

With this new rule the Knicks can keep all the guys that are healthy enough to play active. The rule is supposed to do away with bogus injuries as an excuse to put guys on the IR.

About Houston....

He is a distraction. If he is healthy enough to play....then what? Is he gonna start? Come off the bench? Neither can happen especially with younger more athletic and skilled players on the team.

What does that mean trade our young guys to make room for him? Fuck that ****!!!!

Right now.....we sign James Jones and straight up Waive Timmy, and Penny and offer Houston a position as team minister.

Take all the money he has and do something good with it. Since he is so religious that would be more imprtant to me than basketball at this stage of his career. Enough of his BS distractions.

Why do we need either Diop or James? As insurance? Why commit anything to them when we have more than enough players as it is? Isiah's plan is really beginning to make no sense to me. Shouldn't all the center minutes go to either Jerome James, Channing Frye, or god forbid Mo Taylor? Shouldnt all the swing minutes go to Tim Thomas (to make him more attractive for a trade), Trevor Ariza, J Craw, and Q Rich? Why do we need James too? Why sign players to sit at the 14th spot. Sign a veteran like Steve Smith for the year in case someone cant play. Urgh.

^ Joe Johnson in Boston could = James Jones in Indiana.....
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I read there was a mandate in Indy to curb spending and that they won't match.

Jones, 24, is a restricted free agent. The Pacers have the right to match any Knick offer, but likely won't because of a budget mandate, and because they drafted Danny Granger.

I wish the Knicks had a budget mandate. The fiscal discipline might force some smart decisions.

Diop and jerome james...boy..medicrocy is all over here.

come on now, you cant judge a team by 1 position, and you cant deny that our center position(i also include frye) is in a lot better shape than it has been in yrs.

says who? KT was head & shoulders a better player than either 1 of those guys by a wide margin, & i was pushing for KT to be traded for the longest...just what evidence do you have to make such a statement other than the fact that those guys have a few inches of height over KT & being younger? you telling me Jerome James & Desegana Diop are anything to be excited over?

as for Frye, whether or not he will become a good player is still up in the air...i sure hope he doesn't make you all rue the day Isiah ever passed up Gerald Green for him when it's all said & done...that's 1 thing for all our sakes, i hope i'm wrong about.

it's possible james jones is here as insurance or a cheap backup in case we plan on moving Q down the line - or if we move Q to the SF and just let tim go after the season.
