From the NY Post:

Thomas wasted enough time waiting on Houston and continues to move on without him, even offering a contract to Indiana's young swingman James Jones on the same day he formally announced Houston stays.

furthermore, that means Diop is ours. Why do we need another swingman unless we're trading Craw or Q (which is fine by me).

Hopefully we'll get the news on Diop by sometime tomorrow.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

With Danny Graves aboard (who I think---along w/Ike Diogu) were the best two value picks in the recent draft)...the pacers won't match the Jones offer.

I think nobody wants the expiring deals and we just going to let them come off the cap next year, which in all honesty, is fine by me.

This is the best thread ever. Every single response has nothing to do with either the topic or anything else on the thread. This is halerious lol.

I guess if Indy matches they could work out a sign and trade.

I still have no idea who this james is...or Diop. They don't seem to matter in the grand scheme of things. IMHO.

Maybe we are packaging TT and Sweets for a PF stud?

If Indiana doesn't want to give him up for free, I wouldn't mind doing a S&T involving Pollard.

Hell, I ESPECIALLY wouldn't mind a Tinsley, J. Jones for Crawford, Butler, Draft pick Scenario. Tinsley's from NY, and is a pretty solid defender. He's around 6-3, so if we're pluggin Marbs at the 2, it wouldn't be detrimental or anything.

But I'm ranting here, and I doubt Isiah deals Crawford, his gay lover, anytime soon.

Edit: Tinsley's BYC and I'm not sure how Pacer fans feel about him (whether they want to def. keep him or not), but this would work under the BYC rules:

Pollard, Tinsley, James Jones, FOR Crawford, T. Thomas, Butler, Fut. Pick

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

But they do, these are young guys who have upside, these are the guys who maybe in 2 or 3 years become real players on other teams and we sit in here whining, asking why we can't get young players like that. You get good young players when their stock is low, you don't get those types of players when they blow up to be Brad miller, or michael Redd..

What scheme?? they will get toss like nazy, and every body else who doesn't perform well by the trade deadline. This is turning into a circus without the tent.

what PF studs are available? Does Boozer count as a stud? That's about it.

Boozer's not even available. I think we're standing pat at PF, if for no other reason, b/c no significant upgrade is available.

Personally, if Jones is Isiah's man, I'd LOVE to atleast snag Pollard from Indy...

Why can Indy match? Is James an RFA? If Indy does match, is James stuck in Indy or can a sign and trade be worked out?
