who do you draft?

tweener SF/PF or pure backup PG?

both can have impact on games.
both bring sick athleticism.

which one do you draft?

Thats a rough one. first off I would BET my bottom dollar we acquired that pick for Julius Hodge with Nate as a back up plan. I dont think many draft boards had Hakim falling that low. In all honesty I wouldve taken Hakim even as much as I liked Nate. I might ve been wrong, but thats what I would ve done.

after seeing nate, there's no other baller like him. when he loses his athleticism, it's gonna be game over for him. but for now, it's good game.

This should have been a poll.

I gotta pick Nate. No Kool-Aid- I'm drinking Sunny D.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

LOL! But honestly, I have become a HUGE Nate fan. I was watching the draft with guns and nyk4ever. I was devastated when the Knicks picked Nate but nyk4ever promised me that I would like him. He was right. If I hadnt seen those summer league games, I would've picked Warrick.

I would have gone Warrick also. I loved him and still think he's the goods. That being said I'm thrilled we got NR

I would have crapped my pants and taken Warrick. I love that guy. Much as I love the Nate pick, if Warrick would've slipped, to me that's a no brainer.

It's funny, in February, after we got the pick from the Spurs, I was thinking my dream draft would be Warrick at 11 or so and Frye at 30. I would've accepted Frye at 8 and Warrick at 21...

Gotta go with Warrick, but its a tough call. But Warrick coulda been like our Stromile Swift at the 3-4.

Warrick would have been a no brainer. Love Nate but size has its limits. Not sure if Warrick has limits. He may be tweener but there have been loads of tweener who starred in the league after dropping in the draft because of uncertainty of their position.

people saying they wouldve picked nate before hakim are BS after the fact. I wanted to pick nate with 30, but i would admit for better or for worse if hakim was there at 21, i wouldve taken hakim. im not basing this on what they have done after the fact[although hakim was VERY good in the SL as well] but what I wouldve done on June 21 2005 and that wouldve been picking hakim at 21. I wouldve also taken Gerald Green or Danny Granger if they fell farther. for what was left on the board, i believe we got atleast very close to the BPA in nate and he is also a need. these hypotheticals are crazy-lets stick to reality

I interpreted the question as meaning "knowing what we know now about the two players, who would you have picked?" On draft night, I would have selected Hakim ahead of Nate, probably *mistakenly*
