He has already said he will be ready by training camp though. Last month he said he plans on playing another 2 years.

3yrs later and he's still talking about being further along than the previous year. He better accept retirement this time after he has to shut it down after 15games this time or the Knicks are going to look really stupid

That arthritis is NEVER gonna go away. The retirement option would still work out best for the Knicks, because we still need to move on. If he already feels like this is Isiah's vibe, then he should just ask for the amnesty waiver and play somewhere else.

Where is the official report? it's 2PM already.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Knicks have no one but themselves to blame. You can blame Houston for the decline of the franchise all you want, but the screw ups the Knicks have made have faaaaaaaar outweighed Houstons contract and injuries.

the only thing I'm worried about is it would've been smarter for houston to accept amnesty and go to a contender. Why would he now retire? when has he ever done anything considerate for this franchise? He's not going to retire and we're going to be stuck with his $20mil per for 2 more years

Its gonna be one or the other. Either he's healthy and can play limited minutes for us or he breaks down and will have to call it a career. i'm not worried to much, tho I don't like the logjam that it will cause if H2O makes it thru training camp. It won't hurt I guess to have him available, but shoule he take mins away from our other more healthy players?
H20 will be on Stephen A Smith (1050espn radio) around 1:00et
