It’s been reported that LB is trying to convince Isiah to deal for Snow. I’m against this idea because of his age and contract. But if it had to be done, then how about this 3 way trade? NY does this to cut future payroll, get younger and add length & true PG prospect.

Successful Scenario

I can live with this trade because we get the rights to Ukic. Yes, he has recently signed a 4 yr deal with a Spanish club, but he’s only 20 yrs old with great upside. He’s 6-5 pass-first pure PG who plays defense (6-9 wing span). http://www.draftexpress.com/viewprofile.php?p=26

We get Woods who is a big body. He gets rebounds and can block shots. He’s an ending contract. Eric Williams is a good defensive player who can play both F positions and he’s also an ending contract. Eric Snow is 32 and has 4 yrs left, but if Larry is hell-bent on having him as his PG, that’s the way it goes. This team is better balanced and has improved defensively. We save $$$ in future payroll and we still have ending contracts of Penny/TT to play with.

Knicks
Snow / Nate / Penny / (Rights to Ukic)
Marbury / Ariza / Houston
Q / TT / E Willaims / Lee
Sweets / JYD / Taylor
JJ / Frye / Woods / Butler

Raptors
Duhon / Calderon / Alvin
Crawford / Peterson / Luke Jackson
Rose / Joey Graham
Bosh / Villanueva / Bonner / Williams
Araujo / Varejao / Sow

Cavaliers
Alston
Hughes / Newble
LBJ / Pavlovic
Gooden / Marshall
Ilgauskas / Rose

i dont think cleveland would give up luke jackson, they were pretty high on this kid, and he hasnt had time due to injury to prove himself, and anderson is another steal by the cavaliers, hope he doesnt pull a boozer on them.

Maybe. But Cavs are in desperate need for PG, and Alston is an upgrade over Snow (if he plays under control), don't you think? And Rose can back up Ilgauskas at C position.

no offense to you personally, but Isiah would be high on crack if he made that deal...why give up a young player w/so much talent & a very solid veteran PF who plays defense (something we need MORE of) for that collection of role players? the Knicks better be getting at least a high 1st round pick in that trade or else i wouldn't even consider it.

I agree. It sux for us even if we get a million scrubs in return for 2 players. Where will all those players fit on the roster anyway?

You don't make a trade this big for Eric Snow. I don't think we make a trade for him at all, I think his game is crap.
