He's a mental case but still a decent player and an excellent backup. Good scorer also, thats a good signing for them. For some strange reason they only signed him for 2 years. Weird when they could have offered him 5.

Probably more pg's out there looking for work rather than 7 footers- supply and demand.

BTW- where is our man Frank Williams?

He's a very nice player. He made a big impact when the Cavs initially got him. He should work very well as a combo guard off the bench ans provide some insurance in case Vince gets injured.

Bonn... I agree, underrated signing. One of those little moves that are pretty solid.

Franco, he's a FA. He finished the year with the Bulls and last I read (Chi Sun) he wont be asked back.

Too bad we have so many guards. FW would have a nice defensive guard.

If you want to move Marbury to the 2, FW is perfect. There is a guy with potential to be a Snow type of player. He is about 6 3 and built like a tank, can easily defend 2's.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

they have a pretty deep team now minus the 4-5 positions. if either RJ or vince gets hurt they have both wright and mccinnis backing them up - both player who could start on some NBA teams. Now Kidd will be healthier for the playoffs. they are one good front court player away from being a legit contender

Yeah which makes the fact that they botched they Reef signign all the more puzzling. With Reef they would have had about everything you could wish for on a basketball team outside of a pemire shotblocker.

His deal was only 2 years, $7 mil. That's a huge steal except that NJ won't have his full Bird rights.
