Slowly, slowly, Reily is assembling a hell of a powerhouse in the East. He now has another 7' who is very capable of playing the game to backup Shaq. He added 2 scorers in Walker and white chocolate, and most of all; he now can say that he has a very good bench.

Can the Knicks compete with them this season? I would say that we have a pretty good chance. Proper coaching, a healthy season and a little confidence all that we will need to make some noise. If the Bulls and the Zards did it, we can too.

I have a feeling that the Knicks and the Cavs will replace the Bulls and the Zards in the playoffs next season.

Last year against the Heat JJ played 8 minutes, had 4 fouls, 2 boards, and no points...and they won the game. If he can bring that magic to the Knicks next season I don't see why people are so worried.

Depending on what our starting lineup will be, our Knicks may prove a lot of folks wrong next season. Our coach will make it imperative for our boys to play team basketball. We have enough talents on our squad to cause a havoc to the best of the best. We can go small and big if that is what it will take to win a game. We have fast players at all positions and most of all postup players to slow down the game.

Small lineup:
Nate, Marb, Q, TT and Frye

Big lineup
Marb, Q, TT, Sweet and James....

Defensive lineup:
Marb, Ariza, Rose, JYD and Frye

Scoring lineup:
Marb, Crawf, Q, TT, Frye
or
Marb, Q, Ariza, TT, Frye

Chose your poison.....

Newsflash: good players want to play with a dominant player.

This seems like an obvious statement... The heat have Shaq... What more do you need to know? If Shaq is healthy, the future looks bright for the Heat.

No greater reason why the rebuilding process has to continue, and players like Rose and Taylor need to be glued to the bench.

They are dangerous and lethal as long as the BIG FELLA stays healthy. If somehow he's injured throughout the season, they're done!!!

The Heat are definitely an extremely dangerous team now. Last year they had Super Wade and a mediocre Shaq and were a win away from the finals. Now they have added some better weapons. Shaq is slowing down a lot, thats why they made so many deals. For them to win a title they needed more weapons because Shaq isn't that dominant anymore. They got them and now they are ready. Still, their success is in Wade's hands.

Unfortunately, they have Wade, who makes them a playoff team even without Shaq...

lol, I can't wait for this season. The Heat will explode. Walker will chuck shots as he feels like, in house fighting, Williams dribbling the ball out not passing. Walker has never listen to a coach, hell he didn't listen to Pitino, he didn't listen to Nellie, there ain't no way he is going to listen to who, Stan Van Gundy. Riley you are a genius, you will be coaching the Heat next season and will be viewed as the savior rather than the heel.

look what riles has accomplished in miami since faxing his resignation....very reminiscent to new york.

and that's where i hope the similarities stay, no championship for new york, none for miami.

miami is our competition. i'm not wishing them any luck, but i do admire what riles is trying to accomplish

last year there were a hundred people in here talking about the Heat were nothing but Wade and Shaq. The Heat ended last season in the Conference Finals.

Now i see people talking about the Heat will explode, but guess what? Talent wins in the NBA when you get thru talking...
