I wasn't too concerned with SAR, but this kind of puts a monkey wrench in the nets plans to win the division.

Does the Front court nod return to the knicks?

Wat the hell happened. I thought it was all squared away?

Pffff, ****ing mooks. NJ couldn't sell out a playoff game, and now they **** this one up.

They a bunch of goobas.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Have they officially signed McInnis yet? I wonder if this will affect his decision.

They do a sign and trade with clevelend witht the trade exemption, and maybe more, then still keep the midlevel exemption.

Time will ultimatley tell.

I don't think Nets messed it up, they either found a different scenario and are using this as a reason to change gears, or are hedging the odds.

in an environment were the knicks are careless HISTORICALLY about money, this might be difficult for our fans to fanthom, but thorn since coming over to the nets seems to land on his feet and run that show right. Even Kidd was saying the right things about it just being business. Maybe there is a blockbuster involved with him.

No, they can't sell out jersey, thats why they are ripping apart brooklyn with a Geary designed areana and moving!

I don't hate the nets as some of you do, but I can admire good business acumen.

For me, the game of sports management, and roster structure is almost as much fun as the games.

If its not emotion, its just business!

Knick management took $4.8million instead of Dr. J! (price to pay the knicks for entering the NBA in their terratory) The nets sold Dr. J for to the sixers for 6 million!!!. This was 1976 mind you, but I wanted to cry when I read that years later.

Think for a minute how much more money the knicks could have made having him in uniform! They also were getting him for FREE!!!!! It would not have cost them anyting!

The knicks at that time had signed illegally george Mcginnis who was the sixers legally owned his rights. The knicks lost one or two first round picks as a penalty. George was a free agent when the aba folded. His rights were disputed.

Then a year or so later reeling with no fresh blood they singed Marvin Webster as their new savior!

Its not easy being a knick fan!

YEEEEAAAAHHHH!!!!

Just the kind of news to make my day! Let the damn Nets crash and burn! I LOVE it!

Now I'd like to read Chris Broussard article on THIS. I guess alot tof the beat writers will have to backpedal on those knee-jerk (pun intended) predictions. The planets are once again coming into alignment, and the natural order will be restored. The Nets are going down, no matter what they do to change it. The Knicks, on the other hand, are on the rise.

The Nets ended up looking real silly after this one. The Nets fans I know are just giving the terse "No Comment" replies. LOL They can only duck their heads in shame, and I'll be right there to kick 'em when they're down! (LOL I kicked the hell out of them when they were up, too! )

KNICKS!!!
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Nets could probably use Drew Gooden, but he might not even be available.

What are they gonna do? - start Kystic at the 4? They literally have no depth at PF as it is.

As of now, ya can't consider NJ a top 4 in the eastern conference.

MArC JAckson??? Oh my god, Kidd will never play in another eastern conference game again...

Doubt they're still done bringing pieces in. How can Thorn be happy yet?

They still have some of their MLE and whatever's leftover from the trade exception right? So they could still bring in an impact role player.

Too bad Scallibrine doesn't have a twin....HEYYOOOOO!

I would not get too happy until we eclipse their won loss record, or pass them in the playoffs.
