Marbury and Sweetney for a resigned Duhon and a resigned Tyson Chandler...

The bulls get a legit star in his prime. He would be perfect next to Hinrich in the backcourt. They get a solid replacement for Chandler who's asking price may be a bit too high for the bulls.

From our standpoint, these two guys are exactly what this team needs. We get younger, more athletic, and MUCH better defensively. Larry Brown would absolutley love Duhon and with Ty Chandler and Jerome James we would be very solid defensively up front. Fyre can come in and block some shots as well. Look at the length we would have with that frontcourt rotation and if you bring in Rose off the bench also that is a solid frontcourt on both ends of the court.

Duhon, Crawford, Q, Chandler, James

with Nate, Ariza, Rose, Frye as the 9 man rotation with JYD getting spot mins.

Screw both TT and Mo

yup. you said it buddy.

but keep dreaming anyway.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

First off, that is a bad trade from a standpoint of you get Duhon who maybe at best a career backup pg, and you give up something for nothing. 2nd Chandler maybe one of the longest disappointing bust I have ever seen. Why people think that Chandler as a strictly shotblocker is worth more than he is getting is sort of beyond me. Yeah he can block shots.... 3) That trade doesn't even add up financially Marbury is a max player unless you are saying that Chandler should be signed for max money?

Not crazy about Duhon, but decent. Chandler would be a huge step in the right direction for our frontcourt. Then we can start Crawford at the 1, Q at the 2 and Ariza at the 3. Not bad.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I would like to see Nate emerge to get 15 min a nite and make a difference!

And if he ever slams a putback again I would fine and suspend him one game for activity not condusive to the team!

I'd love him, but our points should not be playing that deep!

first off, there's no difference in my eyes between tyson chandler and eddie curry. both players FINALLY played hard and healthy for their contract year. jury is still way way out on both of them.

you can talk work ethic all you want but has chandler's game really improved any since his rookie year? has there been development? i don't see any - all that's happened is that he finally played a full season.

now with that said, i would like to bring him in here but NOT for marbury and sweetney - that's absolutely NUTS.

marbury, love him or hate him, but the only way you trade him is if you get a star player in return or significant cap room. a re-signed duhon and re-signed chandler does not accomplish either.

I don't think it is enough either.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

unless you're getting back a proven star player in his prime or some ending contracts & high lottery picks, why trade Marbury? IT would never do it.
