if we need a third (or second) center, how about wright? i think he's on the block - i read an article the other day about how a lot of teams were making offers for him. It might cost us a pick and someone, maybe we have to take back salary, but I think it'd be a nice pick up - hes a legit 6'11 240, averages something like 10 and 8, stays out of foul trouble, doesnt turn the ball over a lot, etc. he's also an expiring contract so if he doesn't pan out for us we could just let him go. how about brian cardinal and lorenzen wright for mo taylor and a second round pick. cardinal is a bad contract but he's a larry brown type of player - that's the only deal i can think of off the top of my head - since wright is already expiring i don't know what we can offer them that they'd like. if we could get pau here with wright that would be great, but i doubt we're getting gasol.

Wright's a solid starter or backup at the 5, but there hasn't been any noise coming out of NY regarding him, and I doubt we have the pieces to bring him in (Memphis wants a Center in return - only reason they're trading him is b/c West refused to re-up him after next year)...

I think San Antonio has a good shot at landing him (for Nazr or Rasho)

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Wright is solid but yet he is soft and soft besides soft just wouldn't work,

He'd work better besides a dominant power forward i believe. sorta like Nazr w/Duncan

that's true, and this team sure is soft.

marbs - could be tough when he wants to be
craw - soft
nate - tbd but from college, he's a bulldog
Q - soft
ariza - tough
tim - soft charmin extra squeeze
lee - tbd
jyd - tough
rose - tough
mo - soft
sweets - not sure
frye - tbd but from college, soft
james - he is tough, but at a 15 min clip

so out of all the players getting major minutes, we don't really have any "tough" guys out there. i guess we'll see how it all works out.

lorenzen wright is a better help defender IMO. he doesn't block a lot of shots but he's pretty quick for his size and moves better without the ball. nazr's a better rebounder and better at cleaning up though.
