Here's how I see it, and it makes sense, and you guys probably feel the same way.

He got Larry Brown, which will kickstart the Knicks into a better philosophy, and make them a more defense oriented team.

After Larry Brown leaves, Herb Williams will take helm.

Sooner or later, shortly after that, Isiah will coach the team when he is ready, and will bring the Knicks to the promised land. :)

Isiah better pray he lasts that long! If he does, I could see him pushing Herb to the side in about two years and taking over the helm.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

...with "Win" meaning a Championship. I believe things are already moving in that direction now, and that both Isiah and Larry Brown will be here for a good, long time. IMO the plan is to become a consistent title contender, with deadly efficiency on both the offensive and defensive ends, one of the teams that can possibly win it all every year.

Basically the same plan all us fans want.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I think this is a revolutionary concept that certainly deserves a new thread! Wow, talk about thinking outside the box!

But one thing, your saying herb will suck, or the team will suck under herb, but Isiah will be the cure all!

I might lay odds that Herb will be a better coach than Isiah would ever be.

But yeah, lets start another thread about who will be better in 3-4 years, Herb or Isiah!
