latest reports say he's about 25 lbs overweight.

he had a 2 day scheduled visit to atlanta. he came in on the first day and was given the royal treatment. he then left a day EARLY, never going to the 2nd day of the interview to, get this, go to a BABY SHOWER for his fiance's friend. (i'm not making this up).

he doesn't have insurance yet and will not participate in full court drills UNLESS he has a guarantee contract in place.

ahhh yes...looks like he has all the qualifications to become a valued member of the 2005 NO THANKS CLUB!!!

if the Knicks traded for Curry, you would be the first one in here talking about we are set at the C position for the next 20 years. who exactly do you think you're fooling?

He is worth the risk no matter what at 6 11 and with one of the best postup games in the league.

It just depends how much and for who. Giving him more then 2 years right now would be stupid unless he agrees to a small contract, but why would he do that? I'm sure he'd rather get MLE type money for two years and if he is really healthy and can play, he WILl get a MAX deal at the end of those 2 years.

The problem is, why would not the Bulls give him that kind of money? I'm sure they will match any reasonable contract.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

LLE for a year or two, or tell him to take his immature crap somewhere else and grow up.

Curry's gonna have to settle for a lowball deal if he can't get any insurance. I'd take him for a 2 year deal w/team option for a 3rd.
Any more would be too risky.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Already a risk because of his heart, he now does this? Wow, this doesn't seem to get it...

Chicago will surely match that offer and the Knicks will be hamstrung for 10 days.

Why is this a thread?

James was promised the starting Center job.

Curry is a Center, not a PF, and he can't rebound or block shots for his life + the last thing we need is scoring from our frontcourt

If he's restricted (I forget) then Chicago will match any low-ball offer, b/c no GM in his right mind will offer Curry more than the MLE
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

That's it in a nutshell. Chicago WILL match any reasonable offer, and NO team will give him unreasonable money given his health issue and work ethics...end of story and thread.

Well I guess Curry waits for next season then. If he can get thru this season w/o any heart probs, it'll help his negotiation leverage next year when he's an unrestricted FA.
