Maybyner "Nene" Hilario, PF/C, Brazil
In a league with few true Centers, Nene might just play one... This makes him more a Layden pick than before.
----------ESPN INsider--------
The Skinny: 6-foot-11, 260 lbs, 11.6 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 50 percent shooting from the field..

"Nene" as he's called is compared to Ben Wallace and a young Shawn Kemp by scouts because of his strength and ferocity in the paint. Hilario is an incredible athlete who runs the floor, blocks shots, rebounds and already has a polished low-post game. His workouts have been phenomenal. Measuring 6-foot-11 with a 7-foot-4 wingspan, several teams are convinced he can play center in the league. That's why his stock is on the rise.

This would be Layden's first good pick as a Knick GM. I too think Hilario is a good pick for the Knicks he would bring back some toughness to a team that is lacking toughness since Oakley left. I can see having him play next to Camby and the defense just tighten up on opponents. Hilario is the wise choice if he were to make him the pick.

A young Shawn Kemp sounds good to me.
We suck.

Wow Nene has moved all the way up to the 6th best prospect so he must be doing something right. If he is truely a legit 6-11 than i would take him in a second as if i already wouldn't. The only thing i worry about is passing up on someone like Wilcox and having him turn out to be even a bigger star. Afterall, i'm a big Wilcox fan and he's 5th on the list. Still, if Hilario is as big and good as listed, i would take him. Also, this is my 1000th post. I really need to get a life!
