From Rotoworld (www.rotoworld.com):
(I assume they meant PG for Nate because later it says SG for Marbury.)
As of right now, Nate Robinson is probably the starting shooting guard for the Knicks.
They're going to try to get a free agent, such as Kevin Ollie or Earl Watson and also supposedly have interest in Cleveland's Eric Snow. Robinson blew people away in the Summer League, and it's feasible that he could be the starter if the Knicks don't sign another point guard. Stephon Marbury will be the starting shooting guard this season, backed up by Jamal Crawford.

Bonn you have to be kidding right. I think you are too much of an intelligent guy to be quoting anything from that site.

There no way in the world its going to happen, but I would LOVE it if Nate started. I think he would take to it like a duck to water.

This is probably the dumbest peace of sports analysis I have ever read in my life.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

I didn't really know anything about the site. I cut and pasted it from someone who had posted it in the msg forum

This is all crazy! So now because the Knicks have Brown they will trade for guys with terrible contracts like Snow and Ollie? No matter if the Knicks already have many PGs or players that can play it, no, the Knicks have to bring all Brown's guys. Please, thats just terrible speculation from a media that knows the Knicks are a hot topic again but have nothing real to report. Brown is probably focused on health right now and won't force Isiah to do any trade yet.

Its ironic that the same media that reports about Snow and the Knicks trading for him is the same media that will kill Isiah for making yet another trade for a PG. Barring a great opportunity, I don't think Isiah will make a trade until Brown tries his hardest with the guys already on the team...

I'm all for giving the young ones playing time, but this is ridiculous.

A-Freaking-greed. We haven't even seen Nate besides in college and Summer league. He'll be really good, but dude, lets look at this lineup. Do we really want to have our backcourt become even worse than last years, with a frontcourt defense that is probably worse overall than last years? We need to take advantage of some of the size we have. Give Nate time off the bench and see what he has got, but throwing him into the SL like that is a bit crazy if you ask me.

i'm saying to myself, "why start a 5'9 point guard when you have Stephon Marbury already at the pg position?"

Marbury is clearly one of the top point guards in the league and usually among the top leaders in assist

man, someone please make me understand

Nate Robinson is perfect coming off the bench. His assist numbers were not that strong and he's FAR better at being instant offense off the bench. And instant pesky defense, especially in trapping situations.

Sadly, he may be too short to start in this league. I mean Mugsy did it, and Spudd for awhile. But there would be far too many plays run posting up poor Nate game in and game out.
