I didn't catch it till it was half way through, but I'm looking forward to check out the whole interview when the show repeats.

He's about to talk about the Knicks after the break. They just finished discussing his time in Philly and his relationship with Allen Iverson.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

the 1st part about the detroit situation wasn't all that interesting but then it picked up when they started talking about Iverson I thought. And now they are gonna talk and Steph and the Knicks!

He just said that he'd bench ANYONE, including Stephon, if they don't guard. That's good to just hear him say it. After this interview, alot of previous speculation regarding "what Larry's gonna do..." talk that's been heating up the board lately will be resolved.

He's doing Q&A w/the audience now.

I believe him when he says that he will be coaching HS basketball at the age of 70+ on Long Island. He loves Long Island.

Overall I was very impressed with Larry. I cannot wait for training camp to start. I want to see preseason games and I want to figure our Brown's coaching style. He said he has had great success with NY point guards. That could mean Stephon will stay at PG.

He said he will make every single guy play defense. I will be persistent he said. He also said its going to be tough for the players from the get go. He said he will make sure they are prepared for games and anyone that isnt will sit next to him on the bench.

that is true lol that signature does not go well with how I'm feeling at the moment but I'm gonna stick with it because I think ultimately thats what its going to take for us to be serious contenders because you can only do so much with a PG who will eventually be making over $20mil. The $20mil that should be going to a championship calibur player. You can't have 2 guys makes over $20mil not even shaq and kobe did and one of their main problems was not being able to afford that 3rd option once Rice left. Malone took a pay cut but was old and broke down and payton was a shell of himself.

I rather not think about the longterm right now. Not while I'm in on the kool-aid. Right now I just want to get Grant Hill and maybe win a round in the playoffs doesn't sound very exciting but once the season gets started we'll all be caught up in the moment.

hopefully..

and hopefully I will have acquired a taste for it to the point where it will go down easily

this is the 1st season where I've toned down my expectations. I guess I'm sick of being disappointed every year as I watch every team in the East get better and the Knicks in the nba's greatest market can't put together a championship calibur team because ultimately the owner is satisfied with with just making the playoffs and that extra money so he can afford to overpay solid "B" class players

btw, that interview was filmed about a week ago. they showed that clip of what LB said about iverson when iverson was on the SAS show on monday. so this was prior to steph OPENING HIS BIG FAT F'N MOUTH.

SAS's opening and ending are filmed today.

LOL and he told Steph to call him, so he can teach him what not to say in a quote.

I'm glad I got the Knicks segment on DVR.
