I love to watch the replays of the oldschool games on NBA TV.

I just wanna talk about how much of a chucker Isiah was. Isiah was alot like Craw back in the days. Except Isiah made more of those "what the hell was he thinking?" shots.

Just in a 5 minute span before I wrote this Isiah went one on one and took on double teams and still put up crazy shots but they all went in.

Now a point guard is supposed to know when to do that. That's where Marbs fails where Isiah sucseeded in. Isiah scored when his team needed a basket and he gave the ball up when it was time to give other guys a shot. Edit: make no mistakes about it though. Isiah took over games at the right time too.....always at the end also. It fell on him and he sucseed.

It just reminds me of how good a player Isiah actually was. Maybe that's why Isiah has latched on to Marbs. Maybe the basketball gods put Isiah and now Larry Brown on the same team with Marbs to help him channel his game into beign the best.

Face it. Marbs stats are some of the best you will ever see in a point guard. The Knock on Marbs has always been that eh doesn't get his teamates involved. Marbs has consistantly averaged around 8 assists per game no matter where he has been in this league. I know all the flap is annoying to Marbs but all he has to do is watch the greats and he will find out why no one will put him in the same sentence with them.

Watch Isiah now on NBA TV. The guy was truly awesome.

I'm glad you're getting to see him. Unreal player. Which version of the Bad Boys is it - Aguirre or Dantley? How do you like the 3-guard rotation? And what about all the freakin' wood they threw at you?!?!?!?! Mahorn, Laimbeer, Sally, Edwards, Rodman, good lord, everywhere you looked there wa anather one. Picture Frye in that role??

It was the 88' playoffs against Micheal Jordan and the Bulls. Aguirre was on the team but I didn't see him on the floor. I only watched half of the 3rd quarter.

Yeah that team was Awesome. Mahorn, Laimbeer, Sally, Edwards, Rodman? Whew.....You gotta take a day off and pray on it to be ready for those guys.

Still Isiah ran that team. It was his team. They were gonna lose because of him and they weren't gonna win unless he took them there.

If you like to fantasize then you could say these Knicks are very similiar to that Detroit team except these Knicks are not a team yet....That's what Larry Brown is here for.

isiah and craw had similar type games in that they both had crazy handle and could pull up on anybody. like you said, isiah hit the shots. but more importantly, isiah used his skillset on the defensive end as well. he was always on the ball.

craw has all the freak'n tools to really elevate his game to the next level. especially on the defensive end. with LB in tow, it's now totally up to craw. if he never makes that next step, then it's totally his fault and nobody elses.
