yeah it would have to start at 5 and creep up close to six in the last year, or something like that, but those numbers definitely aint that.

Really? Cool. I guess the NFL uses signing bonuses because it is a non-guaranteed contract.

I don't like the pizza line. You messing with the Big Game's mojo. Plus I thought he liked pastries, hence the nickname Big Snacks.

You know as assbackwards as this reasoning might be, him getting 7 mil in his last year is not even bad, I mean that will only make him a bigger expiring contract lol.

Yes, I'm trying to rationalize this to myself, and I'm not sure I'm doing any good.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

yeah, what's the confusion?

i also think the other question was, is the last year a team option or anything? do we know? would be nice...

So is his contract for 29 or 30 million? Or is it $29,999,999.99?

I usually check things before I go on record and say something and especially with the numbers right there I should have but I was wrong.

I was thinking his contract was for 6 years for some ungodly reason!!

Although those numbers add up to 30, I was thinking something else entirely.

It would have to be a sign and trade if it's six years. I think max length of contracts for players you're not re-sigining is 5 years.
