Houston might get Nick Van Exel and/or Derek Anderson according to a article posted on Real GM.

Right off the bat them getting Nick Van Exel would be a huge pick up. Just think about it. Van Exel likes to shoot it and with the extra motivation by playing with a contender that should be a really nice place to be for him.

Derek Anderson has been linked to the Lakers and he fits that well because he is a combo guard. He has good ball handling skils for his size and could fit well there.

Other teams we've talked about are Indiana, Golden State, Miami, Detroit(Who are basically set for a few years), Cleveland, Washington, Philly(playing together from the start will help), The Nets, etc.....the NBA is getting a whole lot better.

Even our Knicks.....Isiah has moved mountains already and he still has a shyt load of pieces to play with. He could make another trade now and still have players available to make a few more moves.

NBA is really stepping up.

I think it's more accurate to say that the EAST is getting better, and that THAT is better for basketball.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I agree. Teams who have remained stagnant this off-season have actually taken a step backwards.

The NBA will be alot more fun to watch next season.

I'm glad that teams aren't as watered down as they used to be. The East really did pick things up- this is no longer the JV conference. The balance should make things more exiting to both watch and follow.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

no doubt - It was only a matter of time, but it's definitely nice to think of the league as more than 'Lakers, Spurs and the other guys' Although it was nice (during that little window in the 90's) when you knew the road to a championship was gonna go through Chicago, Indiana or NY
