If you have such a stong relationship with your boss, and for more than one reason your not producing with the unit you have, how do you break it to him when he will be part of the change.

At some point LB an steph will clash. Q, Crawford, and steph seem like the perfect odd threesome, none of them play remotley close to anything LB like to see guys play, and there is no doubt in my mind that one if not 2 will go.

Whats IT going to tell steph then, will he do a mcdyess on him, or a deke.

I am not trying poo poo your thread but #1 HOuston has more of a strong relationship with the Owner of the team (they play golf together and have been known that their families are close) and we are talking about cutting HOuston to save money. #2 IT and Magic's relationship is widely known and both have done things to put that relationship in jeporady. #3 How do you know that LB and Marbury will not get along, or are you hoping that they don't get along because you don't like Marbury. Someone can easily counter you by saying I predict they will have a rosey relationship. One just doesn't know.

i'm still going with the approach that we have a lot of concerns to address first on this team before looking at the guy who led us in scoring and assists.

This needs to be posted on the front page, sent to the writers that write those snotty articles, and tattooed backwards on Chad Fraud's forehead so he can read it every time he looks at his mug in the mirror.

Starbury will shock and amaze this year. All-Star team, here he comes!
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I mention three guys who- at least one- is probably going to get traded, and you guy's seem to be missing the point. Judging from Marburys comments in the daily news today, he seems like he's untouchable. I can probably see larry and steph working out pretty decently, but Q and JC are just not the LB type, and if there's a good trade for steph, who breaks the news to him. Larry, IT, or his agent

No one one this team other than rose and JYD plays any defense for more then a possesion or two.

Marbury went through a stretcth this past season were he face off against Kidd, wade BD, nash, mcguiness, and Gilbert A. in back to back to back games & average 30 pts and loss 4 out of 5 of those match ups.

Exactly what does that say.

That the rest of the team was awful and even superb games by Marbury weren't enough?

I mean my goodness, I like how you gloss over the fact that the Knicks had to concentrate on others during those games while the those knicks were able to double on Steph. Is Steph now suppose to guard not only his man but cover Shaq, or maybe he has to play Lebron and his man, or maybe he has to guard Jamison, and Hughes. It is funny how everyone expects Marbury to do everything while others on this team did nothing. Craw was awful defensively but he wasn't brought here to play the 2 guard on a regular basis right off the back. I fault IT for actually believing in guys like TT, KT and especially HOuston.

i'm rooting like hell for steph. i truly am.

man, when isiah said his #'s at the q&a, i didn't realize how awesome they were. he truly did have a great great individual season. and when you look at this player card, it's a HALL OF FAME type career #'s wise.

but everytime he's opens his mouth, HE SAYS THE DUMBEST F'N SH T. and becomes an even easier target for everyone just waiting to diss him.

what's going on here? why is isiah allowing him to just jibber jabber like this?

"it's scary b/c i can score at will...there's nothing i can't do out there". yeah, we heard it already steph. you're the best. i'm one of your biggest supporters but enough is enough. you're damn near 30 years old. no need to say sh t like that anymore, you know? now SHUT THE F CK UP AND PLAY!!!

btw, notice how we haven't heard from any of the young bucks about LB - craw, ariza, Q, frye, nate, lee. we only heard from the vets. i wonder why this is.

Have any of them been interviewed at all? If so, I'd figure the question WOULD come up.

I haven't read about anything from any of them recently, especially since LB made it offical.

There was one article that had comments from Sweetney. He was all about Larry Brown.

I actually thought they were too close last year and that it hurt Lenny and Herb, but this year I think with Larry's power, Isiah acts as a nice buffer between the star player and star coach.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

What are you guys talking about? There's already a history of them having their differences. They couldn't even get through a month together in the Olympics without problems. Marbury admitted as much in the papers 2 days ago.

Based on that I would have to say that the people who don't think that they'll get along have a pretty good reason to believe that and you can't easily counter that with a comment that you predict that they'll have a rosey relationship since it's not based on anything. If anything, like I've already shown, there's evidence to contradict that comment.

I could care less how their relationship is. Phil and Kobe never got along since day one. Kobe and Shaq didn't get along. 3 Rings!!!!!! Cased closed.

Who cares if they like one another or not?

Brown and AI didn't get along and their relationship lasted 6 years complete with a trip to the NBA finals. Screw who likes who! Play ball!!!!!
