those are good names to be had for cheap for contenders and I think the Hawks have a good chance of getting Pavhulia who will put up or very close to a double double on the Hawks. Not a shot blocker, but a good player and only 21.

For comparisons sake when he was still 20 6.2 pts 5.1 reb in 19 minutes

compared to james 4 points 3 rebounds in about the same time, althoguh he is 9 years older.

Pachulia is 6-11 260
James is 7-1 275

Like Joe Torre, Isiah may prefer experience over ability. Unlike Torre, he has demonstrated that he is a pretty good judge of talent.

Call me crazy, but I think I'm takin Torre in that matchup.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

How does is IT a better judge of talent then Torre? I just don't get it, I mean i'm not even trying to baks IT here, I'm just dumbfounded that a guy who has won multiple championships is being compared to one that did not even come close. (Talki bout GM's here, not IT as a player.)
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

it's not like Torre has anything to do with the talent the Yankees assemble. Big George's checkbook and Brian Cashman have a LOT more to do with all that.

Comparing Torre to Isiah makes no sense. Comparing Torre to Brown makes a little more sense, but I don't think a baseball manager really does too much. They certainly don't run practices.
