who would we have to give up to get KG, i think marbury has to be included, but we still have nate as our backup

Due to New York, Minnesota, and L.A. Lakers being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. New York, Minnesota, and L.A. Lakers had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

2 problems:

1: Minnesota would be trading a top 5 player for Marbury and Sweetney, without any relief from their horrible contracts. Yeah, we'll let you know. Dont give up the day job.

2. Caron Butlers already been traded to Waashington for Kwame Brown. oops.

i'm pretty aure that if the Lakers traded Garnett, they wouldn't send any 1st round picks out with Garnett. I'm guessing they would want a boatload of first round picks coming back to Minnesota. And i'm almost certain they would want young promising players also.
