Brilliant statement-if Van Gundy/Riley happen to see this (fat chance they won't) what are the odds that one of them puts it on Shaq's locker before any game he faces the knicks-just for a little motivation.

He had more fouls than rebounds last year, hes a player people.....He and Frye might be the worst fould plagued tandem in NBA History

Why, is it that everyone assumes that he is calling out SHAQ with that statement?

I understood him to be saying that he prefers playing someone that is not as mobile, or has his same physical stature because its a better matchup for him. Sort of an even playing ground, as opposed to him attempting to guard the quicker, power forward/centers in this league and draw ticky-tack fouls.

Now without a doubt, Shaq "just being Shaq" may try to spin this as a motivational ploy for games next year.. But hey, if thats what he does then so be it.

Jerome James doesn't have to stop Shaq, heck no one can.. but he can be the disruptive force that we need in the middle... and can also make scoring alot harder for Shaq. Whatever he gives us on offense is a plus. I think him saying, what he did was ok. IMO

The problem is, its not sort of an even playing grand. Not even close, and if he was in any way intimating that Shaq will try and kill us. But the thing is, if he meant that, it'll be good to see, hopefully he makes Shaq work as well.

I dont think anyone is stupid enough to say they want to play Shaq every night because they are better then him. Even Darius Miles.

By nature of the position, I don't mind our bigs talking smack. I loved it when X-Man said that he would go into the Bulls locker room by himself and said he would be the only one coming out.

I wish JJ actually showed up to play every night. Instead of being a no show for his entire career up to this point.

The Knicks should have sent another video from Tony Soprano and his crew telling JJ that no show jobs are their line of work not his.

First TT was saying how he was gonna destroy K-Mart and the rest of the league b/c of his boxing. Didn't impress me, but it impressed others. Then Jamal Crawford proclaims he was gonna score 50 again. Then Marbury says he's the best pg in the league. Now the instant we get Jerome James, he says he wants to play Shaq every night. Has any of this talk translated into reality? NO! I wish these guys could just shut their pie holes for once, cause I'm sick of hearing it.

Only posted the first part because that's the only thing Van Gundy/Riley are going to put on the front of Shaq's locker. Does anyone care about why James said it.
