I know the best thing the Knicks could do is stock up one first round picks, but because of the depth of the talent I don't think teams would be willing to trade their 1st round picks. But, I think if we put together an impressive package we could get a few second round picks. With two more the Knicks could get some qulaity players at center (IE Jamal Sampson, worth the risk in the 2nd round), at point guard, and any other positions they would want.

What kind of package would you put together?

I was thinking something along the lines of othella, and postell for one or maybe two second rounders. It seems like teams throw around their second round picks a lot, and this year the second round is going to be stacked with above average role players that. If they wanted I'd be willing to throw in a future second round pick.

That is interesting. A Postell for 2nd rounder, Harrington for 2nd rounder, or trade them in a package to a team needing depth who would be willing to give up a first rounder. Cheap talent, that could work. Other then those two though I can't imagine much happening.

A team like Orlando or Milwaukee might look at Harrington as a cheap option for immediate front court help in exchange for a second rounder, maybe even Phoenix as well.

Another option could be to trade our #7 to Phoenix for the #9 and #22. This was suggested at RealGM. I really like that idea, and would definetely consider that deal.

That woud be great for us. Maybe we could add Harrington or something to make the trade more appealing for the Suns?

Othella might opt out though, especially if he's included in some trade.
