right now, it would be the knicks b/c the charlotte guys aren't as polished yet. alot of developing potential players. ok4 is awesome but after him, you have brezec who's ok. may - we don't know what he'll bring. ely and voshkul - nba journeymen.

james - all 15 mins of him may have more of an impact than brezec. sweetney has proven to be a solid bench player (could be better with minutes). fyre is unproven. mo and malik are LIGHTYEARS better than ely and voshkul.

so ok4 is the best of the bunch but with minutes, i'm not sure if sweets can't be a 15/8 player either.

knicks have the edge now.

This is sad. We're comparing our frontcourt to the 2nd worst team in the league.



This is what I mean by typical Knick fans, you know. It's ridiculous.

And what's even sadder, is that Guns is right on the money.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Ely is a good complimentary post player, surely a nice luxury, but certainly no beast. But I do agree, Emeka by himself is worth more than our whole frontline combined. That doesnt mean that in totality, Charlotte is better, but I would bet that most GMs would trade EVERYONE on the Knicks frontline for Okafor. The Knicks have some brutes and Sweetney has a chance to nring it to the next level, and we have the offensive skills of Frye, but would i be stretching it to say that Sean May[albeit not proven, although thats just a formality] Brezec and Okafor might be ranked 1-2-3 if you combined the teams?
I as thinking who I would give up May for and I couldnt even say Sweetney, and then can I give up brezec for any Knick--I dont know if I would. He's 7-1 255 and he really just started to come into his own. How could you trade that?

I would take Frye over everyone but Emeka. Emeka is clearly the best, but the Knicks have more depth. Have you guys been watching the same Ely I have? Brezec is offensively gifted, but he makes Frye look like a defensive star. Sure, it'd be nice to have Emeka. Is that the point?

Where's David Lee for the Knicks? Butler?

briggs, weren't you all hyped up on sweets when he came out also? and i think you're feelings on sweets FAR SURPASSES you're feelings on may now - at least post-wise they do. so how do you know may won't be like sweets or worse?

remember, may is now going to be playing with ok4. sweets didn't have that luxury.

ok4 is head and shoulders better than everyone else.

but as a unit, the knicks frontline is better right now.

Sweetney is better than Ely no doubt but Ely is a tough rugged player who I would take over Taylor and the 6-4 Rose anyday. If Frye has the season Brezec had I would be shocked and thrilled. Who knows what May will become but he could be better than Frye and Sweetney oh and ok4 is better than our frontline combined yes including big game James.

Right now Charlotte. Until Isiah drafted Frye, his major acquisitions have been in the backcourt.

Sean May would be so utterly redundant on this team it's not even worth talking about him. Frankly, I don't see him being an impact player. If you were going on about Diogu, I'd give you him. But May? No. I'm not convinced.
