The luxury tax threshold will be $61.7 million...any amount over we will pay dollar for dollar. So does anyone have the Knicks total salary for the upcoming year--I am curious how much money we would really save if we cut Allan.

Actually, it looks like we are so far over that we would save however much Allan will make--unless we dump TT and Penny somewhere for players making alot less...

We're at 110 million roughly and if we cut Allan thats 20 mill less on the tax, so the Knicks would still pay about 30 Mil in tax. Yikes.
