Yeah, it sounds like he is pitching better than his record indicates, I will take any healthy arms at this point.

I'm not going to go nuts because this has had some decent years but he's also had some really bad ones. I like the fact that he's got a 4.09 ERA this year but the Rockies had even tried making this guy a closer at one point becuase they were so disappointed in him. I do like the move becuase its better then Nomo though and he has a decently high ceiling at this point.

Anything to keep Brown and Sean Henn off the mound for the rest of the year I am fine with. I think a rotation of Johnson, Mussina, Pavano (shortly), Chacon, and Wang/Leiter/Wright is looking pretty solid.

I'd say the same as you Oak but depending on how Leiter is pitching at the time I'd swap him with Chacon. Having 2 starting lefties in the rotation if they make the playoffs would be HUGE, especially against the Red Sox.

maybe, but leiter will have to be healthy. This is Leiters last season. I guess it depends on the impact Chacon will have now and until the playoffs.
