and told him he better be ready...i never liked stephen a smith until he got this radio show, finally someone on radio or tv thats a knick supporter....and also BT is the man!!!! hes a huge knick fan

I'm sorry, I could care less if he likes the Knicks, Yanks, Red Storm, Giants and all those teams. I cannot stand listening to Stephen A Smith. Half the things he says is BS and totally wrong and just the way he speaks is just annoying as all hell. If he became the broadcaster for the Knicks, I'd turn the volume on mute.

man, he would be the worst broadcaster ever. It's nice to have a homer out there for the Knicks, but he is an arrogant, boorish guy. I really don't like listening to him scream things that aren't that bright. But then, I feel that way about almost every aspect of ESPN. I hate the channel.

Steven A speaks the truth. You may not like what he says, but SA tells it like it is. If you are horrible, he will destroy you. what is so wrong with that?? I wish that all the media was like that. He is not bias at all

people don't like to hear the truth sometimes...they get used to everything being so sugarcoated that you don't know if someone's actually saying something anymore these days or if it's just another ambiguous statement that gets spit out by players that really aren't saying much of anything.

personally, i like Steven A. on the radio...he's alot more interesting to listen to than Fatman & the moron or Steve Summers on the FAN or even Michael Kay for that matter...oh, & Brandon T rules.

the thing I hate about SAS is his schtick is being a jerk. Its not about the truth, its about being loud and in your face. I guess since now we have the internet if we want good content we have to rely on the radio to make an ass of people. It does nothing for me. Now Michael Kay is trying to do the same thing. M and the Dog are more arrogant then ever. I'm just glad KRock plays real rock and roll again.

On a sidenote, it's not about SAS sugarcoating stuff. I just flat out don't agree with half the stuff he says. I agree with somethings, but hey. It's the fact that he's flat out annoying, arrogant and obnoxious to listen to that annoys me.

Thats is pretty much the standard for Radio personalities everywhere. Its not about necassarily being funny, or clever, its about being offensive.

We can all thank Howard Stern because he laid the blueprint for what we have to endure in political, sports, and FM radio personailities. I absolutely hate it!!

I'd rathe rlisten to Lite FM, of WBAI.
No one can be a normal human being who has anything decent to say about someone, everyone is an *******, everyone sux, lots of racist humor, the whole thing really really disturbs me.

Smith is just a guy who screams a lot and is kinda dumb. No wonder Dido likes him, I mean they sound about the same intellegence wise. Just replace his idioitc Rasho moans, with "trade KT, trade KT..." by Dido.

I'm happy with the new KRock format, too btw, was getting tired of having to listen to crap on the radio.

A lot of the sports guys are real annoying. Mike and Mad Dog, Jim Rome, who is my least favorite of all time, and Steven A Smith all just get paid to scream their lungs out.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

see, I havent listened to Howard for a few years, but I thought he was pretty good. He wasnt about being an ass, only to certain people. He was the only one in the entertainment industry to not kiss everyone's ass. Then all he did was fart jokes and lesbian games 5 days a week with strippers and midgets mixed in and it got old fast.

My favorite radio persoanlity is Joe and Sid on WFAN. I do respect Mike and the Maddog because they are VERY indulged and knowledgeable in their stuff. They really do analyze and know about their sports. I like Joe and Sid more because they are more of a Knick fan, Jet's fan, etc. I also like Chris Carlin on the overnights and Tony Page as well.

IMO the best sports talk is on ESPN Radio. They are objective (and yet still pro-Knicks), which is more than what can be said about folks like Mike & the Mad Dog.

Another good thing about ESPN Radio is that they can talk sports without the racist humor that permeates some other shows.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!
