this is the usa 21< USA team. the three tallest guys are 6-10is and one is a SF and really the other 2 are true 4s. Again we have no real C ranging from 18-21 that is good enough to make even the trials. Other than greg Oden--and there are a couple of fringe candidates, there are just no C in the pipeline, NOne really. The oldest guy on this team is JJ reddick 21 the youngest is rudy gay 18 the biggest is glenn davis 6-9 310-although he plays kind of soft. hopefully they can get him into a mean mode. Taj gray is probably the best big a long with boone[although he is hurt again] but the guards on this tam are really good. It will be an intersting squad

Here's to hoping they aren't done growing yet
"This is a very cautious situation that we're in. You have to be conservative in terms of using your assets and using them wisely. We're building for the future." - Zeke (I guess not protecting a first round pick is being conservative)

But 2007's draft had plenty of centers, and really big ones. And some of them may not be done growing. Now, how do we get one of them with our pick, thats another thing. In future deals, we should be the ones getting picks because its likely that with Brown in town, the Knicks won't be in the lottery again...

I still like Eric Williams even though he is 6-9. If he was like an inch and a half bigger he would be pick 1 next IMHO. heck he shouldve been in round 1 this year, but he was smart to wait. I dont care what mock drafts say, eric williams--if he stays in the shape he is in now is going to be a high 1.

Nick Fazekas is a very talented 6'11" player but probably not a true C...

It really only shows the lack of American centers. B-Ball is so international that there will be good and great big men who come from all oer the world in the next few years.

totally. plus all the players that would have been centers are now interested in playing PF. there's a lack of back to the basket NBA ball being taught and played nowadays. There really isnt much time in the NBA for teaching and maybe there really arent many coaches that are teachers either.
