I think they will. Jerome James will be a help, even in 15-20 minutes a night. He's a defensive anchor who will close off the lane for a lot of guys, not everyone, but a lot. Nate Robinson will be fantastic backing up Marbury, our backup PGs last year had a +/- of -12. If Nate can play even with the other team, we'll be MUCH better. I have a feeling Nate will be a "+" many nights.
Adding Q Rich gives us depth at SF and SG, now we can reel Craw in on his off nights. We can bench Fugazi on his off nights. We have an outside shooter and a big wing player to put a body on the Ricky Davis' and Paul Pierces of the world.
Lee and Frye add athleticism, length and hops to the 4, something we've been lacking for years. Frye is also a competent center for about half the game when James is sitting. Frye will be able to eat up some guys and he'll have his problems with others.
Marbury will be forced to be more interested in getting guys involved with Larry here.
Of course, the major question is defense, but I think James, Malik, Lee, Nate and Trevor bring that intensity and Larry will give more time to the guys who play hard on defense. Defense is all about effort, and if the guys giving the effort get the minutes, the other guys will be forced to play along.
I'm thinking 45-46 wins with Larry Brown here.
