really? does this mean the Cavs aren't getting Sasha Jaravicus(sp?)?

I guess it makes sense for the Cavs, but if I were them, I really would've tried to get Wilcox thrown in. The Clippers have to be thinking about moving Wilcox now ... or Brand. (and now, like five Tim Thomas for Elton Brand trade "ideas" by all the new guys).

Anyway, I think the Cavs could've gotten more for Gooden. Eh.

According to the report from this Cleveland tv station - Wilcox may actually be included. IF the Cavs get Wilcox, I'm going to change me tune - Wilcox is a better fit for the Cavs than Gooden, getting Jaric is gravy, especially since it looks like they lost out on Sasha to Utah.

19 Actions News in Cleveland, Ohio reported on it's newscast last night that Gooden would be traded to the Los Angeles Clippers with guard Marko Jaric being signed and traded to Cleveland along with prehaps forward Chris Wilcox being included in the deal.

If Gooden is indeed traded, the Clippers would behis 4th team in as many seasons.

I dont see anything about this S&T anywhere on espn.com or realgm.com. at least state your source(s) (if any). it's kind of annoying not being able to verify this info, as insignificant it is in the whole scheme of things.

You cant always post a link. Im not listening to radio clev im giving you espn. while espn can be quick to jump the gun--ala rahim to the nets--they are probably way MORE accurate than a link.

yes, the ESPN reports SAR to Nets thing went on for like 8 pages because people were incensed that there was no link. And you know what, that report probably jumped the gun, but guess where SAR ended up? sometimes you just hear something from a friend or the radio. this is a board for discussion, as long as it's intelligent and well-founded, I'm fine with no link.

Gooden may not have any ikmpact on whether Brand stays in the Clipps or not. But, as this trade indicates, anything can happen with the Clipps. It may have been a smart move if they just let Gooden go, or as every other team juts trade him ant let him make the record of playing for every single team in a whole career. Still, if they throw in Wilcox just for the sake of it... I don't know.. I know after his gun incident his value may have been low, but I still thought they could get something for him. Maybe a pick is going their way...

Gooden and Wilcox are good athletes, but can't get thier crap together. They have yet to take it to next level. Immature and lacking solid fundamentals on the court.

I agree with this, but I guess the Cavaliers feel that they don't have so much to lose. They had no picks, but have made some great signings. Their team looks solid, they just needed some pieces. Maybe they feel Jaric is part of that equation. I feel they could've gotten at least a better player...
