He's defending himself. SAS is asking him questions about his game. The stereotype that he can't make guys around him better...

swipe of quick recap (i wish i heard it b/c then i would do a REAL recap)
Ok to recap again real quick

-talked about how minny wasnt abouthim demanding a trade he didnt put a gun to their heads and say trade me or anything like that it was a decision they made, and he lived with it, said they won while he was there.

-Talked about how can he make players better when his starting lineup is feick, muresan, sherman douglas, he cant go out and make you better all out, the players have to do their part too, they have to hit shots or w/e he can give all the open shots, dimes, etc but they have to play too.

-Talked about his relationship with LB and how everyone writes about it but knows nothing of it, says they have a good relationship, he learned sooo much from him in that short time, and thinks LB is the best coach in the NBA.

-Started talking about current knicks possibly might have taken a few shots, saying how he plays to get people shots and stuff like that and they dont come through coulda been his old teams or people on the knicks now. Talked about the young talent on our team, agrees with all the players IT brought in, likes nate the great.

-GUARANTEES THE PLAYOFFS

Stephen A Smith is a good NBA analyst and has good sources too. He definately brings credibility. I dont think he kisses up to athletes but I dont know that. I like him a lot. He is one of the NBA guys that is mainstream and deserves our trust.

I wish i heard it. Me like a idiot turned the TV on and dismissed it....didn't even think about the Radio.

Larry Brown is going to be the coach it would be a shame if he wasn't now.....Timmy is the X factor.....Brown could be the guy that finally gets him to play hard every night not just when he feels like it.

I hope what he said about Larry is true because that would make it more likely that he signs with us. I know the factor that will decide this will be his family. I think he should be thrilled with the chance of coaching the Knicks, even if the whole team isn't exactly the most attractive one.

I hope we sign Larry because considering what Steph said, we could really see Marbury becoming a superstar under Brown!

Timmy is gonna get traded b/c you can't teach defense. You can teach defensive schemes, but you can't instill heart and tenacity in a guy that might as well play for the WNBA...

I don't like it when Steph blames other players for not making shots--even if it's true it doesn't help your teammates by bitching about it publicly. I can't imagine Kidd or Stockton talking about the crappy players they've played with in the past--kind of shows some insecurity and a lack of respect.

I always thought TT played hard, just not always well...if you want to criticize players for not playing hard let's talk about Vince Carter! How can anyone glorify him in NJ when he has a record of not playing hard?

Hey, don't insult the WNBA..

Now seriously, I think you ca preach defense so much that guys that didn't give a damn about it might actually start working hard to play it. Defense is all about effort. Now, I don't know if TT is sane enough to try to work hard on D, and thats sad..

Timmy won't get traded and his knock isn't his defense, it's his lack of rebounds.

Against the raptors last year he defended Vinny on the last shot and preserved a win.

Not bad defense if you ask me.

Has good footwork and is tall...he just needs to go after boards more, that's all.

He won't get traded anytime soon.

I don't undersand how somebody can not hate TT. He is an embodiment of everything that was wrong with the Knicks last year.

A lazy but talented extremely soft player who is makin ALOT of moeny.

I mean cmon, the dude is 100% fugazy lol.

tim is a bum. he has talent but after you add everything together, he's a bum. unreliable and is strictly a big $$$ EXPIRING contract. he's single handedly the reason we were 16-13 instead of 19-10 last year. he should not be a knick after april. if he is, then it may be one of the worst contract extensions in this team's history.
