Okay, we all know we already have too many PF's...but is he and a future 2nd worth maybe MoT and Malik? It's kind of hard to tell how much Gooden is worth because he can be great at times and disappear at other times--I wonder how much Cleveland thinks he is worth.

Absolutely. Cle won't do that though. I really don't know if there's any way to get him without getting rid of Ariza. I would send anyone of our power forwards and a future first rounder for him in a second though.

BTW at Kansas his teammates nicknamed him "Recede Wallace" because of his fading hairline...

I'm not a Drew Gooden fan but that deal would be too good for us to pass on. I doubt Cleveland would do the deal.

Clevland looks ready to make a push. They need veterans to lead and do all the dity work. Rose would be perfect for Clevland. They were willing to take KT for Gooden. Rose is a decent talent and can do everything KT can do.

I like Gooden because he can play 3 positions. He can get you double doubles when he gets the minutes. He's been in the dog house too often in his early career. There must be something going on that we don't know because Gooden is a decent player. Dood is coming off 14pts and 9 rebs and has been getting better every year.

If CLE would really do it, then it would trim the glut @ the 4 and improve our frontcourt.

I'd do the trade, but what matters is would they? Get Isiah on the phone.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Danny Ferry is no fool he knows what he wants and he knows what a team needs. With the Larry Hughes signing alone he sent Clevland into the playoffs. But then he picks up Donyell Marshall! I hope they resign McInnis. McInnis was really effective and played off of Lebron nicely.

From what I see they need leadership in the front court. They got Anderson Varejao to make up for the loss of Gooden. They just need a smart vet off the bench that will be a leader to this team. Rose fits that role perfectly.
