if the Knx are not convinced that Steph can coexist with LB and Minnesota is in rebulding mode then there are several scenarios which could happen. Marbury, Sweetney, Rose and a 1 for Garnett and Szcerbiak works under the cap. Not crazy, not saying it is a rumor or will happen and only works if Minnesota wants to go the rebuilding route.

They won't want Marbury if they're rebuilding. They'll want cap room and several young prospects, which I would give up if Garnett's knee is okay because I think a Marbury/Garnett team with solid role players can compete for a championship. I wouldn't give up all our prospects, but I'd give up any two or three of them plus TT and Penny for Garnett and any contract they want to dump.

They did have that crazy Joe Smith scandal and bad relations with Spree and with Cassell. I think they'll still be extremely cautious with what they do with Garnett, as trading him has the potential to kill their fan base.
