Detroit needs longevity and Larry can't provide that. The Knicks really don't care at this point, they need that superstar coach that can make the Knicks respectable again. If he stays longer, oh well...If we win a championship, it will be great..

You don't pay a coach 10 million a year unless you want a championship soon--if he's not in it for the next 4 years I don't want him.

I don't care if Larry only stays for one year, he needs to be a Knicks. We payed lousy HOuston $20 millions just to model for us, why not a coach that can teach everyone in our organization including Zeke????? Bring Larry on board please...He is what we need.

Give Brown as much money as he wants; it's worth it just to become respectable again

It's kind of funny how other teams seem to succeed without Larry Brown, how is that possible? Remember the Pistons were a 50 win team before he arrived. I don't see any other teams clamoring for his services, nobody wants him back--I just don't trust the guy and players may not respect him seeing how he was a distraction to the Pistons last year.

i understand your concerns but he still is one of THE BEST coaches of all time. everywhere...EVERYWHERE he has gone, he has left the team in much better shape than when he arrived.

that's all we can ask for here.

at least, this will stop ANY coach criticisms by fans, media, etc. you can't blame the coach anymore in this situation.

then it will be SOLELY on the roster and the guy that put it together.

hiring him is a pure no-brainer, especially since his salary doesn't affect the cap in any way.

if he can't coach more than one season, then so what. he's still better than any other coach you could've brought here.

Phill or Larry as the best coach in the league right now????

I will take Larry.

Phill is an overachiever..He is definitely not a better coach than Larry.

Show Larry the Money...After all, he is a legend and deserves to get pay.
