Including the Celtics who felt Brian Scalbrine was a better option:>)
Rahim--Nets 6 yr MLE Swift-Nets MLE Marsha-5 mm a year for 4
NO team with big cap room even offered 5mm
It really isn't a money issue with Walker, I think teams in general have realized that his style of play is so undiscplined and inconsistent, that you cannot have this man on your starting 5, rather only as a controlled back up. He's been exposed in each of the last 4 playoffs and is journey into Atlanta. Who wants to see Walker hocking 3s 8 feet behind the line until he is 35? At this point, I dont see it.
As much as Jerome James is a risk, hes still a better MLE option than Antoine

Who says Toine wanted to go to any of those teams? Most likely he is holding out for NY.
And the reply is...a post that makes sense (still waiting)

after all the bynum posts, briggs can now vent out and payback with the walker posts - AWESOME
Don't tell me we're going to see as many anti-walker Briggs threads as we saw pro-Bogut threads. I might have to forget about basketball and become a golf fan or something.

Dude!!! I don't want Walker....Isiah is definitely looking into bringing him to N.Y, but Boston nor Indy will not deal with Zeke. YOu know the story between Zeke and Ainge/Bird. Walker will endup in Sacremento...

i'm scared man...i'm scared we're going to be seeing employee number 8 at the garden...
please tell me not to worry...please tell me it's just a bad dream...
If Walker comes to the Knicks I'll be thoroughly pissed.
Walker is NOT what we need. We need to muster up a 2 for 1 PF deal, where we bring in a legit Big that can block shots from the weakside and rebound. If it takes throwing in a # 1, then so be it. But it's Isiah's mess. Don't forget that. He created this glut, and now he has to clean it up. And he will, or friggin else...
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure.
And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Not necessarily a bad choice. http://www.ebaumsworld.com/playgolf.html

Isiah will likely fail on his attempt to get Walker, which is great for me. We don't need him, fans don't like him and we must run at any deal that involves acquiring another PF. Let Walker go to Sacramento.

I'd rather Isiah be patient and wait for what we need rather than try and solve our problem in one offseason. That never works, and it would be stupid for us to think that it could...

Dude, I have got news for you. There are no more ledgit bigs available. Trade Rose to Minnesota in a deal for a scrub like Kandi and a pick; and traded Sweetney or Mo T for a half way decent defensive SG...

Hmmm, I like that Candy deal. How long is his contract?

• A report in Sunday's Boston Globe indicated the Bobcats might be interested in a three-way deal that would send Celtics free agent Antoine Walker to another team. Bobcats coach/general manager Bernie Bickerstaff said he hasn't heard from Boston, but is always willing to listen.
