I'm fully convinced that a coach of Brown's calibur will make the scrubs on our roster look good. And he will get the most out of the many lazy underachievers such as TT, Taylor, Marbury, Craw, etc.

They granted him acess to talk with Cleveland, and pressed him about his health.

They got him with no compensation form Philly who granted his release with a year left. They fired Carlisle after two good seasons and a 50 run to persue Larry.

I agree, I think there are some egos at work here and a bust in the making is at the center. I feel that Joe Dumars is tried of Brown receiving all this credit as well as his team. He is tried of the Darko is a bust chants from fans, media and anyone with a clue. To me Joe has to live with it. He got hoodwinked by the likes of Darko's group, Ford, and all these other "Euro talent" evaluators that predicted this guy was going to be better than Lebron. Well right now I have Sweetney ahead of him. He got Wallace but it was a no brainer deal. I think Brown was less than sincere with this talk about retirement due to health reasons. I think he accomplished what he wanted in Detroit and wanted to get out. I can't blame him for wanting to be close to home and coach an organization that he believes he can help (savior part deus). I think his wife has alot of explaining to do if Brown does accept. But that's just my beef.

Lets keep rebuilding, fiscal responsabilty, draft picks,

Let larry teach into playoffs in year two, Deep run in year, hoist the banner in year four. Let larry retire! Isiah lets Herb be no. 1 if he his not hired away, or let Isiah coach the team!
