I don't know if this was posted already, but Bogut received his first ejection this season according to espn news. His comment was "I needed a rest anyway". I just heard that on espn. I guess he hasn't heard of something called 'taking responsibilty for your actions'. And people talk about young guys coming out of highschool being immature.

My prediction is that there will be a lot of whining in his career. I can already see it coming.

Well I guess we got ourselves another Barkley, Rodman type charecter in the NBA.

The NBA has been lacking in that department for a few anyway.

You guys are ridiculous, Bogut is not struggling, he got tangled up with a player, attempted to confront him and both were ejected unfairly...ridiculous stuff.
And the reply is...a post that makes sense (still waiting)

I think they were referring to him being 1 for 7 from the floor and being dominated on the defensive end when they say struggling, but you probably ignored that part of the article.

Also, remember when ewing came into the league, he had like a fight a week.

It's the story of the heralded big man...he'll be ok.

but, roblackman, any thoughts on his numbers and struggling?

I'm sure you can creatively defend that as well.

I think he is just trying to prove things to everybody. Has put a lot of presure on himself. So no wonder he flipped.

He does have to deal witht the "he is prolly the next big white dope" argument, I think thats why he got testy when they compared him to Longley.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

He's only played 3 1/2 games, he wasn't aggressive in game 1, played great in game 2 and 3, struggled against big David Harrison in game 4 and was ejected early unfairly--big deal.

exactly...now try practicing that same patience with the 8th pick in the draft...oh, i get it, only other players can struggle and get a pass.

I'm just saying...

Bogut is averaging 12.5 pts and 9 rbs--which is great considering the limited minutes and circumstances. There is no doubt he will put up 16 and 10 during the season.

BTW, I've never criticized Frye, I think he's going to be a very good player.

no doubt....I am in total agreement...bogut will be AT LEAST a 16/10

Frye will put up better numbers than Kurt thomas did.

You know as much as I did not like the pick, but I really hope we start Frye at C, not James. I mean, considering the offensive skills Frye has, he should be easily able to put up 12 pts a game.

As for rebounding and shotblocking, he has to learn. And what better way then to throw him out there? That will surely make for a faster learning curve. And if he keeps scoring it will keep everybody of his back.

i think so too...if he shows he can start, I say throw him out there and let the MLE player come off the bench and dominate the scrubs.

I'm not afraid of too many centers out there in the east, maybe 3 or 4 guys will abuse frye.

But with the way the PF position has evolved and our fire power at the 1,2 and 3, maybe a james and frye front line is the best for the knicks.

We won't be undersized and we will have offense and defense covered.

I'm not really concerned with the POSITION frye plays as much as the MINUTES he plays...

frye should start.
