I'm sending an email today to ask for more coverage of the summer leagues, based on the new rookies and how excited everyone is. Even a 30 minute re-cap each night if they can't afford to send out a crew. 20 seconds of "highlights" is not acceptable. Anyway, here's the email address. Let's all send polite and reasonable requests for more SL coverage. You never know!

I am sending a e-mail also, because not showing these games is just lame. plain and simple..

Thanks! And let's try to make some reasonable suggestions for them. I suggested a 30 minute recap show, but there might be other ideas.

one thing would be broadcast the SL games. Its not like MSG is so full o fcreative programming that they cannot find a slot for a Knick game! 30 minute recap is a good idea too. I'll try and send those two as a suggestion.

I got a response saying that their schedule was set a long time ago and can't be changed. I emailed back asking for more than 1 minute of coverage on Sportsdesk at least.

I don't think MSG has much control over the SL games. I believe if it was up to them, they would love to show every game but the NBA gives NBA TV all SL televised rights. And I think they have little rights as well. The summer leagues are trying to get people in those arenas, I bet they would prefer to blackout those games if possible. Las Vegas didn't mind because they are trying to land an all-star game. The bid to bring a professional sporting association or league franchise there continues.
