went over the rosters, higher level competition here than what they faced in LV.

First game wouldve been great, but Charlie Villenueva, Pape Snow and Joey Graham are all out for the entire series of games, as is Granger for Indiana. Actually tonight will be the easiest game by far, but it gets rough after that. The only guy we faced who was really good was Howard and he played hard for one periond. Now we will face guys like Artest Harrison Bogut and some undrafted real C like Hagen and Edwards who are in the 7-0 275 range, with guys like branden hunter 6-8 265 playing pF--so after tonight, we will see some action. tonight toronto is very thin all over the court

Briggs , how do u think CV will do in the nBA? What kind of career u think he'll have? I think he might suprise everyone. Just a feeling. Although it wouldn't appear like that from his performance at Uconn.

Artest is playing SL? Can you get suspended for games during the season if something goes down during a SL game??

the nba might actually be more his game then college, and he is truly a gifted skilled player, but where i see problems

A-finding a true position
B-his body and stamina--he had stamina problems both years at UC
C-mental toughness
D-work ethic
these obviously are all very important aspects of the game, but after thinking about it, i concluded that taking CV at 7 in my mind wasnt a terrible reach. Hes a very gifted player, and he really knows how to play. He raised his work ethic quite a bit, but lets see how it is playing 90 games.

He did have one of the best SL games this year with 21 pts 9 reb 6 asists 2 blocks--then dropped to 10-5 on the back to back--and I bet that will be the case in the nBA, he will have some really nice games, he has a lot of skill and he will try, but his physical stamina and mental toughness may hold him back, especially on B-B, or worse get him injured. He needs to work closely with a sports nutritionist and psyhcologist--

NBA TV is televising most if not all the games in the Rocky mt revue in utah, and without tape delay.. I don't think any of the minn games will be televised.. again that sucks!!!

the rosters are on individual team sites. you can google minnesota summer league and it takes you here: http://www.nba.com/timberwolves/news/summer_league_2005.html


also, people looking for TV coverage, MSG Sportsdesk is going to do nightly coverage with highlights, but I think that's the best we'll get. I don't understand why MSG won't televise these. There are plenty of Knicks fans around the world.

Wow, we're facing Artest. And Bogut. This'll be interesting. Go Nate! What do you bet that Trevor wakes up for Artest?

After watching the tape delay game today vs the nets the statline does not tell the story. first of all Ariza has it on cruse control, he got to the hoop at will, his defense is solid as is his rebounding, he is doing a little bit of everything very well and is under control.

Frye looked good also, displaying that he can be a lot to handle on the offensive end..

Butler looked good, very good, I like his game, we should be giving butler, sweetney and lee a majority of the minutes..

Nate I am convinced is the fasted guy in the NBA

Lee I like him because he can get the rebound and in two steps he is out of there pushing the ball, plus his handles are better than I thought...

Too bad we can't watch the games, there is no earthly reason why MSG must show old hockey reruns instead of the SL games. Just pathetic...

I don't get why they won't play Ariza in this summer league. I though one of the main goal's of the summer league was to develop Ariza's jumper. From what I've heard his jumper wasn't great during Vegas, so why not use this opportunity in Minnesota to work on it a bit more?

maybe to concentrate on his jumpshooting and getting stronger.

he needs to stay in the gym and shoot 1000 jumpers a day. in game situation doesn't really allow him to do that.

Another big win by the knicks. Coming back from down 12 to take a win with good play from all three rooks.
