We could really start looking serious in the league, not just in the east. We need a tough player who boards and plays D and can score down low. Boozer isn't the most talented post player in the world, but his toughness, Scoring, and rebounding would help a whole lot.

With an 11 million per, what would you be willing to give up for him?

I would do Penny and a pick, but thats probably not enough unless they want him gone.

TT + Sweets for Boozer and a pick.

I don't know thoughts?

I don't see the Jazz giving him up anytime soon. Adding Williams solidified that team. They'll be instant playoff contenders next year barring injuries...
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

If TT has a strong contract year and the Jazz are struggling and looking to dump salary, maybe you can pull off something like TT and Sweetney for Boozer and Okur. Anything better than that is a huge rip off favoring us.

Okur would be to help them out. I don't want him. I don't think anyone does at that salary. If they'd rather do the deal without Okur, that's GREAT. He's a bench player earning $10 mil a season

We ran this into the ground a while back.....

Boozer would definately be a nice fit here. Boozer is a legit starter. Sweets still can be that guy but he needs to drop the weight and get quicker to really do that. I hope he is doing that now. Otherwise Boozer would definately be a nice pick up.

Sloan would have to really hate him for this to happen though.

If Sweetney comes into camp in shape, I'll be stoked.

If not, his ass needs to be dealt.

Mo T, Sweetney & Lee for Boozer works under the cap...not sure Utah makes that deal though.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Somehow I'm feeling quite full with my serving of power forwards, thank you.

He came into camp in shape last year and he lost that "shape" quickly. Im really concerned about Sweetney's weight problem Bob. Until Sweetney hires Tim Grover, he's never going to lose it and even then he still might not be able too. I just hope for the Knicks sake he comes into camp inshape and prepared for starters minutes because he might be getting them.

Another Boozer thread? LOL

I do like the sweets & TT for Boozer trade, though. I doubt Utah would do it- wait- LayDown's back over there? Hell man, maybe he'll give us their pick as a throw-in just trading for TT!! Maybe he'll take MoT for Boozer straight up (and we could STILL prolly get that pick too!). Anything's possible with LayDown calling shots in Utah.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

That's not a bad price for Boozer, but man we really have to move some PF's. The minutes are just not there...

Yea as bob said, I doubt Utah is looking to trade Boozer right now since they drafted Deron and they should not have a serious shot at making the playoffs.

"This is a very cautious situation that we're in. You have to be conservative in terms of using your assets and using them wisely. We're building for the future." - Zeke (I guess not protecting a first round pick is being conservative)
