Saw it man. This can shut those people that say he doesnt get hits off the Sox in big situations and what made it even better it came against that Fatass Schilling!

I personally loved how Ruben Sierra faked getting hit on the knee from Timlin's breaking ball.


Almost as cheap/grimy as A-Rod slappin the ball out of Arroyo's hand last year.

Wow nice job by mussina after that first inning, he really buckled down. Sheff was a absolute beast tonight, I figured the yanks never discussed trading this guy to the mets for cameron, talk about lopsided and just plain stupid for the yanks... Great homer by A-rod and this leads me to my rant..

Last year the yanks went up 3-0 on boston then their bats died, there was a rumor that boston pitching stepped up but that was not the case especially in that bloody sock game that shcilling picthed, the yanks bats had already gone cold and he made his willis reed type appearance and won a game in which he didn't pitch that great,again boston just had things go their way... So tonight in a feeble attempt to try to recapture that so called magic or fools gold as I call it they bring in big mouth , dumb azz, over the hill broken down schilling who missed half the season to face sheff and A-rod, I mean what is that? does francona not respect the yankees, what type of abbot and costello basball managing is that... well schilling was throwing batting practice and sheff tagged him and A-rod hit a friggin bomb, how fitting, I bet A-rod shut his big mouth, I just thought it was a joke to bring him in there..... what a stupid, bush league move... and schilling and boston got what they deserved..

And to top it off, rivera struck out the side as if he were pitching against a little league team.. wow...

Why are the Yankees everything that's wrong in baseball? because they buy wins? BTW, what team had the highest payroll out of any world-series winning team? Answer: Last year's Red Sox. I don't blame the Red Sox or the Yankees for their payroll. I don't care about payroll, but if I did, I would blame the league rules rather than the teams that follow the rules.

The only player I respect on the Yanks is Jeter b/c he's not afraid to get down and dirty to win - and by that I mean flying after pop-ups and ****, not grimy, foul-play bull**** that A-Rod & Co. pull from time to time.

I got nothing against Matsui b/c he doesnt really talk or do anything extracurricular. He just plays.

The Sox is what baseball is all about. They put on their dirty, dusty, rusty uniforms and play as a real unit. They do whatever it takes to win, and there's never really any drama surrounding the team. Each guy has his own style, whereas the Yanks look like a bunch of cookie-cutter *******s.

IMO, it's weird as hell having John Olerued on the team. He's as anti-Sox as you can get. He's the only waspy-ass, stiff, cardboard-box player on the roster. He should be waived...let the Yanks take him back.

Sox are always the underdogs. They Yanks will underestimate them once again in the postseason. Just watch what happens...

bobs come on man the yanks won 4 rings in the last 9 years and they did it by not being primadonnas... Jeter, rivera, jorge, bernie all are fantasicm gritty players, get off it man, boston is a bunch of dirty, average talent players, things went all right for you guys after you went down 3-0 to the yanks, enjoy it because you got fortunate with the yanks and just got hot vs a better team in ST. Louis. Your team is not championship calibre this year especially. If you only respect jeter on the yanks then something wrong with you. The yanks are the ones who showed class all year even watched your stinking ring ceremony while your team including that big mout dick wad schilling trashed A-rod for no reason, he and some other clowns on your team... Believe me that was the wrong thing to do... For you to say boston is what baseball is about after the yanks have dominated baseball the last 10 years is a damn joke and I can't beleive you said that.. Your organazation is a joke, why do you think your best picther is pitching at shea? and having a great year? come on man!!!

Another thing, the only reason why Botons unis are dirty is because they can't field. You have fat azz ortiz at first, and manny in right.. Those clowns hardly resemble baseball players...
