Explain how Herb Williams is supposed to go into Training Camp this October and have the respect of the players after all of this? If Isiah Thomas really believed in Herb, he should have resigned him immediately after the season ended. By waiting all these month's and interviewing all these other candidates, Zeke is admitting he doesn't have complete faith and confidence in Herb. I know Zeke was holding out for Phil Jackson and Larry Brown but this makes it all look terrible. Anyway you look at it, the only reason Herb is the Coach is because nobody else wanted the damn job. Nothing from last season will change because Herb doesn't have a leg to stand on and the players will know it. This is a terrible situation and it will cost us not only wins but player developement.
