I am just sick and tired of the N.Y media and some fans on this board that feel compelled to just pick Herb to coach next season. This guys has never done anything throughout his career that should warrant him to be the headcoach of the Knicks. If we do have other options, why must Zeke just give the job to Herb only by virtue of the fact that he is loved by the media???? after all, credential is still highly regarded in this world...If you don't have a good resume, you shouldn't be hired over a guy who has won as a player and a coach...

There are NBA coaches who never won it all as a player who made good head coaches. It's a very difficult art in knowing who's gonna be a good coach and who's not. Unless, like you said, he has already won. And in that case there is only Larry Brown out there and we don't even know if Larry's going to sit out this season or what. We are at his mercy pretty much at the moment.

Is this thread really going to start a different debate than the give Herb a chance thread? Different side, same arguement man. We've heard it all before.
