WTF is going on here?

james for 5 years $36 mil - you KNOW it's coming...

and they said possibly a sign and trade? sweet jesus, if we end up giving this bum $6+ mil a year, for 6 years...then...then...i guess i'll just cry.

THIS JUST IN - jerome james cleans out a krispy kreme's in the seattle area - film at 11.

btw, if he gets james, after the whole "well with nazr, you'd have to re-sign him to $7 mil a year" crap, then isiah gets a THUMBS DOWN for this move...

WOW ... Mike "Fat Albert" Sweetney and Jerome "Big Snacks" James. I say we sandwich any Star PF or Center between both of them in the paint! :)

This would be a panic move by Isiah Thomas. Who cares if James is big? You're going to waste money on a 16 mpg player? He averages 3.5 fpg! Honestly, is he THAT much better then Sweets, Malik Rose or Mo' Taylor at Center? :/

Jerome James is worthless! for the first 3/4 of last season noone knew who Jerome James was and as soon as he heard talks of trade rumors he turned it up a notch to showcase himself, why would we want someone here who chooses when he wants to play 100%

the ONLY way i would except jerome james is via a sign and trade and IF his contract is the EXACT length and EXACT dollars of any of the following:

Why? Jerome James isn't better then any of them. He can't even play anymore then 16 mpg! He's terrible.

yeah...let's stop sweeping our players under the rug because there are available free agents...looking at the numbers, James, Kwame...heck all of the other FA's are worst than our current PF's.

The only player that is an upgrade in stats, I hate to say it, is Walker.

I certainly don't want to pay James that kind of money. But I do think he's a better fit then Jyd or Taylor. We need someone who can play defense against centers.

Again, I hate to say it fellas but I'm not totally against this one. Of course I wouldn't over extend the money to him but right now we have no one over 6'8 to man the post and we cannot expect Frye to be our 45 minute a night center. We need help there. Now as for me, I'd actually be happy to get James but ONLY if we're going to also end up with Swift as well. That would add length, girth and athleticism (Swift) to our front court.

Just James alone, I don't know about that. Truthfully fellas, I'd rather have 2 guys who eventually can fill Walker's stat sheet combined than to actually get him for a million years and a trillion dollars against our cap for years and years to come. Notice I said "eventually" fill up Walker's stats. Not say they will but it's possible.

are we going to add three 30 year old POC at long premium cash to the team? this is terrible terrible and if he does get walker blount and james im putting the knicks hat inside out taking out the tiki doll and pushing for 28 wins
